Grown locally in the NW coast of Tasmania, at Moriarty near Latrobe, by farmers Paul and Tina Badcock, The Cherry Shed's cherries are huge, fresh and delicious.
The Cherry Shed retail outlet is located just off the Bass Highway (take care when turning) - there are free tastings of cherries, cherry wines, port and liqueurs, plus locally made jams, jellies, pies and fresh cherry and raspberry icecreams for sale. Also sells fresh raspberries.
Interstate visitors please note that yes, you can take Tasmanian cherries to Victoria, NSW, Qld, the ACT and NT (you just can't bring fruit into Tasmania).
Even better, have The Cherry Shed's cherries posted overnight. Using Australia Post's overnight delivery service, we will send a 2kg box of premium grade fresh cherries to any destination in Australia serviced by Australia Post's overnight bag service.
Please note we cannot send cherries to Western Australia owing to quarantine regulations.
Cherries and delivery together cost $35. Phone or order online.
