Blustery Banks is a relatively new wine producer, with grapes grown by Spreyton apple orchardists Brett and Linda Squibb on 2 ha of leased land, half of which is pinot noir, the balance chardonnay.
Their wines are made by Bec Wilson of Holm Oak in the Tamar Valley.
Blustery Bank wines are available in the local farmers' markets. Their market reach will no doubt expand since their pinot noir won the Trophy for Best Pinot Noir in the 2011 Royal Hobart Wine Show, defeating over 160 other producers from Australia and New Zealand.
