Leven Valley Vineyard (aka Moonrakers Vineyard & Gallery) is situated at Gunns Plains in the temperate, maritime climate of North West Tasmania. Located on the side of a north-facing hill, the the vineyard is approximately 1 Ha (2.5ac) and is planted half to Pinot Noir and half to Chardonnay grapes. Soil type is predominantly rich basalt over limestone and is drip irrigated from a dam.
