Harpers on the Beach is situated on White Beach, near historic Port Arthur and provides the only absolute beachfront accommodation on the Tasman Peninsula, not far from the East Coast of Tasmania.
The beach cottage is right on White Beach - just 30 paces from door to sand - and offers peaceful, relaxing surrounds and excellent service with a warm and hospitable atmosphere.
The three queen ensuite guest rooms are large and beautifully decorated with imported fabrics and custom made furniture. Each room has a private deck with views of the ocean. Step off your deck and it is a mere twenty five paces to the three kilometer white sand beach. This wild, unspoiled and virtually secret crescent shaped beach has been named as one of the most beautiful in Australia.
Facing west you will experience stunning sunsets over Storm Bay with views all the way to Bruny Island and the South West wilderness area and the Hartz Mountains.
Dinner is served by arrangement and when possible is always based around local and organic produce. Tasmania is world famous for its high quality fruits, vegetables, meats, fish and of course wine. Wine and beer are served with the wine selection predominantly featuring award winning Tasmanian wines.
Harpers on the Beach is the only boutique accommodation in Tasmania that can say that it is actually on the beach!
