Roslyn House Bed and Breakfast offers comfortable accommodation in the heart of the Derwent Valley. Roslyn was built in 1859 and affords tranquil views of the surrounding hills. Guests can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere in the gardens.
Both the queen and double rooms have quality linen and electric blankets. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in the dining room and evening meals may be provided at a small extra cost. There is a barbecue available to cook your own meals and enjoy the outdoors.
Roslyn House is situated at Bushy Park among Tasmania's oldest hop fields. Guests may spend some time fishing in the Derwent or Styx Rivers and enjoy cosy log fires to snuggle up to with a good book or watch your favourite DVD.
It is only a 20 minute drive to Mount Field National Park, the beautiful Russell Falls, tall trees of the Styx Valley and the unique wilderness scenery looking towards Lake Pedder and the World Heritage Area.
In the opposite direction we are only 20 minutes from New Norfolk where you can stroll along the esplanade of the beautiful Derwent River.
Alternatively you may wish to browse through the many antique and curio shops nearby.
