A three day festival for bird watching enthusiasts on picturesque and flora and fauna rich Bruny Island.
The festival will be opened with a BBQ, carvery dinner and live music.
The highlight of the festival for bird enthusiasts are a range of bird watching tours around the island with expert guides and the rarely available boat trips to Pedra Branca, an offshore rock stack and major sea bird breeding area, and flights direct from Bruny Island to Melaleuca in the SW World Heritage Area, to see Orange-bellied Parrots.
The festival also includes walks and tours, information sessions and opportunities to hear well known wildlife specialists speak and to chat with them about your own insights.
Stunning images and artworks will be exhibited all weekend. There is a a market day, children's activities.
