Being born and bred in Tasmania, and having traveled and tasted the world extensively, the Team at Great Expeditions understands how to give people the produce they want.
Offering both food and wine tours in their comfortable vehicles, they will take you to a range of commercial and boutique locations. For example: vineyards, wineries, Breweries, cheese and chocolate factories, whiskey distilleries, fruit farms, oyster farms, other fresh seafood, mushroom farms, sushi chefs, farmers markets, scallop pies and the best delicatessens around.
Their tours are good value for money as they only operate with small groups (larger, private group bookings are also available), you can modify your tour on the day (ie. visit other Tasmanian attractions - like MONA) and the guides have plenty of local knowledge to share with you. Operating in all weather conditions, with pickup and dropoff at your accommodation, it's no wonder they are rated the best land tour company in Tasmania (Trip Advisor - 2010 & 2011)
A percentage of profits are donated to the Pennicott Foundation as they truly care about conservation. If it wasn't for conservation, the water and air in Tasmania would be polluted, and therefore, so would your wine!
