Rosevears Estate has sweeping views over the Tamar River

Rosevears Estate is the complete package for the wine tourist. Leave your car parked behind the complex and drop into the tasting room for some cool climate tippling. Lunch or dinner can be enjoyed in the 160-seat dining room and function centre right next to you. And no need to worry about overdoing it, as you can stay in one of the sixteen self-contained units just metres away.

If you’re feeling like exercise, Viticulturalist Simon Dawes might take you for a stroll through the manicured vineyard, discussing the varieties which grow well here and the vintage variation from year to year. But whatever you’re doing at Rosevears Estate, you’ll be smitten by the view, which looks down over pasture and other vineyards to the easy-flowing Tamar River, slowly making its way towards Bass Strait.
