Moorilla, located at Berriedale just north of Hobart in Southern Tasmania, was established by one of the icons of Tasmanian viticulture and winemaking, the late Claudio Alcorso.

Moorilla is now an integrated wine, food and art and cultural experience, with boutique chalet accommodation and regular concerts. The spectacular Moorilla Museum of Antiquities is being redeveloped to house one of Australia's largest private modern art collections, and will be a gallery of international significance.

Their award winning wines including their signature pinot noir are amongst the best in the State. Look out for the new M label and Muse range. Also home to the microbrewery Moo Brew.

Not to be missed on a visit to Hobart.

(Robyn Lewis, founder of VisitVineyards.com, was the Inaugural Curator of Moorilla Museum of Antiquities).
