Providence Vineyards is located at Lalla in the Pipers River wine region of northern Tasmania and is the state's oldest established vineyard. Frenchman Jean Miguet started the vineyard in 1956 and called it then "La Provence". The Bryce family took it over in 1980.

Providence produces premium quality chardonnay, pinot noir, riesling and semillon wines. Some of the oldest chardonnay in Australia and an original pinot noir block planted from French stock still producing their wines

The vineyard also retails a host of other fine Tasmanian wines.
