Established in 1886, the Warrnambool Art Gallery offers a large collection, ranging from turn of the century European paintings to avante garde modernism of the 1940s. Visitors can view artists such as Albert Tucker, Arthur Boyd, Sidney Nolan, Charles Blackman and Joy Hester as well as images of the shipwreck coast region and its heritage.
The gallery is open 10am to 5pm, Monday to Friday and 12pm to 5pm on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays. Entry is free.
