Monichino Wines was established in 1962 and has become renowned for producing high quality, award winning wines.
The rich soil and excellent climate of Katunga in the Goulburn Valley, Victoria make ideal conditions for grape growing and wine making. The vineyard consists of approximately 26 hectares of low yielding vines producing high quality wines. Emphasis is on producing premium wines and recently the winemakers have expanded the range of wines to include the new Italian varietals Sangiovese, Barbera and Pinot Grigio.
The vineyard is a popular destination for tourists and the venue for a number of events. Visitors are welcome to enjoy the Barbeque and picnic facilities, the relaxed ambience, charming setting and of course the award winning range of exceptionally good wines available for tastings. Only 30 minutes drive north of Shepparton.
