The 2010 Challenge commences on Friday 2nd JULY with display set-up in the Entertainment Centre Main Street, later that evening a BBQ dinner will be held at the Trackside Tabaret Patrick Street ,during the evening a representative of the Northgate Stawell Gold Mines will present a report on the gold mines. Saturday 3rd JULY, The Saturday morning bus trip will include visits to the gold mine, Stawell Gift Hall of Fame, Stawell Railway Station Art Gallery and a tour of Stawell).
The VICTORIAN COUNTRY ORCHID CLUBS CHALLENGE opens to the public Saturday 12noon Saturday Night Dinner (at the Trackside Tabaret);- includes the plant auction and raffle Sunday 4th JULY, Sunday morning walk with the judges followed by more orchid buying from the four commercial sellers before the challenge closes at 3.00pm.
Commercial sellers;- Johnstons Orchid Nursery, Sims Orchids , Mt Beenak Orchid Nursery and Castle Creek Orchids. It is recommended that registrations for meals and bus trip be booked as soon as possible as there are limits on numbers, also accommodation houses are filling fast. Registration for meals & bus trip (with money) to be forwarded to;- Mrs. Pauline Coppin 20 Scotland Place Stawell Vic. 3380 No later than; 4th JUNE 2010.
