A short drive from the town is Maits Rest, where visitors can enjoy a stunning rainforest walk set in the temperate surrounds of the Great Otway National Park.
Linking Apollo Bay to the Twelve Apostles, the Great Ocean Walk stretches 91km and takes approximately eight days and seven nights to complete. Apollo Bay Eco YHA is placed perfectly for those wishing to begin or end their journey on this spectacular track!
On the culinary side of things, meals can be prepared in one of the hostel's fully equipped guest kitchens or out on the barbecue. The hostel is conveniently located 100 metres from the local supermarket.
