Based in Apollo Bay, on the Great Ocean Road, 'Walk 91' will plan your itinerary for your perfect 'Great Ocean Walk'.
The walks include:
A safety briefing (by an ex Parks Victoria Ranger) in Apollo Bay, to discuss your walk. A personal safety beacon (EPIRB) A small lightweight first aid kit, walking poles, detailed walking notes, and photos of flora and fauna, maps and map holders, fly nets, Otway Light Station entry tickets, experienced drivers, who live along the Great Ocean Walk, and know the area well, 12 Apostles visits and Loch Ard Gorge visits are available, and included in several packages. The walk is well signposted, so perfect for a self-guided walk. All walkers are provided with 'Personal Locator Beacons', so that you are never far from help if needed.
Director Mark Kininmonth was a Parks Victoria Ranger, working on the Great Ocean Walk for several years. He knows the area well and will provide you with expert advice during your personal safety briefing, before your walk commences.
Walk 91 transfers your heavy bags, so you walk with just a small backpack.
Enjoy hiking to your accommodation or campsites, changing locations whilst walking. This reduces long transfer times and gives you the opportunity to experience different accommodation / camping spots along the Great Ocean Walk.
