Casa Luna offers stylish accommodation and beautiful food for the sophisticated traveller in the King Valley.
King and Queen Suites are located in stunning, architect-designed buildings, with two lounge areas, including a glass-walled dining room and outdoor wood-fired kitchen - La Piazza - for guests' dining pleasure.
Enjoy gentle valley and vineyard views from suite windows, or revel in the relaxing peace and tranquillity, sitting on a private balcony, or on the patio.
All rooms are air-conditioned, with an open fire for winter in the dining room, and a stylish wall-fire feature in the kings lounge.
Casa Luna Gourmet Accommodation features regional Italian food - breakfasts and dinners in the dining room, or wood-fired pizzas and Tuscan style roasts served at the beautiful communal table outside. Wine-matched degustation dinners a speciality, showcasing King Valley and Italian wines. Casa Luna are Slow Food members and are proud to feature local, seasonal produce.
Petanque court, with boules and instruction and lessons available. A wall of books in the lounge, with a huge selection of cookbooks, plus an eclectic selection of DVDs.
Local attractions include intimate, family-operated King Valley cellar doors, Milawa gourmet region, Paradise Falls, Powers Lookout, Lake William Hovel, Ned Kelly sites, special interest towns and villages - Beechworth, Glenrowan, Benalla, Wangaratta, Yackandandah and Bright.
Other activities are motor biking and cycling on quiet country roads, walking the foot-hills, white-water rafting, snow skiing and fishing.
Excellent local dining options - Mountain View Hotel and Frasca's Trattoria at Dal Zotto's in Whitfield. The Whitty is a charming cafe. Wood-fired pizzas and great coffee at King Valley Cucina. Some cellar doors serve food as well - King River Estate, Gracebrook, etc.
Casa Lina is close to the iconic Swanpool Cinema, Winton Race Course, the snowfields and High Country, Mansfield, Benalla and Wangaratta.
