The Sunbury Backroad Festival is set on a working farm. There is parking space for all who want to drive and for non drivers there is a bus service from the Sunbury Railway station.
The arena surrounded by native trees and with the majestic backdrop of Mt. Macedon is picturesque, not one power line crosses the sky, a true rural landscape just 40 kilometres from the Melbourne CBD. In an environment that is family friendly patrons can bring their own picnic basket or buy food from diverse on site vendors. A children's tent and trampolining are there for the young and the young at heart.
The local region wine makers will have their extensive range for sale and the football club will provide the beer and spirits. The Festival is working with the Sunbury Community and from every ticket sold AUD1 goes to the CFA and AUD1 goes to the SES. The day will be a chance to see these unique bands perform on the big stage, a fantastic day out for anyone who likes some of the very best rock and roll Australia has produced.
