In the heart of the Oaklands Valley, in Bulla, in the Sunbury wine region of Victoria, lies Melbourne's closest winery - Wildwood.
There are probably few wineries in the world which can claim to have a large metropolis virtually on their boundary. Located just 4 km north of the Melbourne Airport, off the Tullamarine Freeway, the vineyard stands at an elevation of 132m, allowing for panoramic views of Port Phillip Bay and the Melbourne skyline, in the Macedon Ranges and Spa Country (Daylesford area).
