Paramoor Vineyard and Winery is discreetly located amongst native bushland high in the Macedon Ranges, north of Melbourne, in Victoria's Spa Country and Daylesford area. Both boutique winery and accommodation (bed and breakfast), its owners Will and Kath Fraser have paid personal attention to every detail.
"Paramoor Winery places quality ahead of quantity, and aims to produce wines of a national and international standard. We use world class equipment and leave nothing to chance. Our mission is to be the best." Dr Will Fraser
Once a working Clydesdale horse farm, the original heritage barn accommodates the cellar door and it's in this rustic environment that the Paramoor wines are showcased.
Paramoor is set in the heart of the Macedon Ranges, within view of Hanging Rock and only a short drive to the local villages of Woodend and Kyneton. Galleries, restaurants, antique stores and heritage buildings surround, all sharing the charm and elegance of the Macedon Ranges region.
Accommodation at Paramoor is tucked alongside the historic barn, retaining unique touches with contemporary charm. The first of two bedrooms is enclosed in the attic, overlooking the winery and beyond to distant vistas. The second is located downstairs adjacent the kitchen and entertaining areas. Both have queen beds and the comforts of home. Generous breakfast included in tariff.
