Piemonte cuisine is sophisticated, French-influenced and always freshly prepared. It is the land of ‘tajarin', agnolotti, wild mushrooms of all kind, small goods, home-bred meats for roasting and stewing, game meats and of course the land of truffles.
Wine is always part of the meal and is enjoyed reverently.
Piemonte is home of the famous sparkling white “Moscato d'Asti”, white varieties such as Arneis, Cortese and red varieties such as Dolcetto, the widely spread Barbera and Nebbiolo, the grape variety found in the regions greater style of wines: Barolo and Barbaresco.
