Cobbs Bakery is located at Port Fairy, past Warrnambool, near the end of Great Ocean Road, in the Henty wine and food region of South Wesstern Victoria.

Cobbs Bakery's shop front sign proudly states “Old Style Bakery” and it's true to its name. Cobbs Bakery opened for business some thirty years ago, and follows the same tried and true traditional recipes. Mrs Cobb herself has only just retired, handing over the reins to Trevor Bartlett who has been with this quaint bakery for years.

Cobbs bakery is a local icon, famous for their wholesome, good old fashioned pies (real quality - big on taste, and good pastry), their slices (particularly the vanilla slice), of course the crusty bread varieties, and their cupcakes and muffins too.

Cobbs fare is generous to say the least; they are not mean with the size of the slices or muffins either. Bread varieties abound– anything from sour dough to soy linseed to four seed, also crusty loaves of dark and light rye and the ever popular Scottish malt loaf. Due topular demand a sandwich bar was added recently.

All Cobbs fabulous bakery fare is made on the premises the good old fashioned way. Customers can also choose to eat in the garden.

All purchases are wrapped in old style paper bags. What a delight! Be assured you will find something naughty but nice, or, something humble but excellent for lunch.

Definitely worth a stop and shop.
