CRU restaurant on the terrace at Outlook Hill has gained a reputation for some of the best food in the Yarra Valley (Victoria's Dandenong Ranges) and the wondrous panoramic views over the heart of the valley. CRU has been embraced by locals as an affordable relaxing alternative to some of the more high profile wineries, and is highly recommended in the current editon of both The Age Good Food Guide and Gourmet Traveller Restaurant Guide 2007.
Chef Leonard Kusnezow's rustic style and superb command of flavours ensures everyone can find something to suit their tastes. Menu prices range from $15.00 for entrees and $26.00 for mains. All deserts are $11.00.
Sourcing locally grown produce is an integral part of CRU's ever changing blackboard menus.
CRU's wine list is centered around the estate wines produced by Outlook Hill vineyard with other varieties from the Yarra Valley and other regions further a field also available.
