You will find Pettavel Winery and iconic multi award winning fine dining Pettavel Restaurant at the start of the Great Ocean Road, in Waurn Ponds, near Geelong, on the Bellarine Peninsula in South Eastern Victoria.
Pettavel - more than your average vineyard, features a state of the art winery, cellar door, fine dining restaurant, function facilities; all this positioned on a hill top, with panoramic views.
Using the freshest local produce and quality ingredients Pettavel Executive Chef Matt Dempsey and the Pettavel kitchen team continually produce modern, innovative and creatively presented taste sensations on a plate.
The Pettavel menu changes daily dependent on the freshest seasonal flavours. Pettavel wines are available by the glass and bottle, as is a comprehensive wine list featuring Australian and International wines.
The restaurant is open seven days a week for lunch and every Friday night for degustation dining evening from November to March, and the last Friday of every month thereafter.
Light meals are available in the cellar door to compliment the cellar door wine tasting experience along with a cheese menu, desserts menu and coffee served throughout the day.
Sample the banquet style trio of entrees, flavoursome array of main courses, exciting seasonally influenced desserts, and relax into the comprehensive wine list, bucolic atmosphere and efficient service.
Pettavel has been awarded six consecutive chefs hats in the acclaimed Age Good Food Guide, and after three consecutive "Best Restaurant in a Winery" awards from the Victorian Restaurant and Caterers Association, Pettavel was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2005.
