Lethbridge Wines is located in the Moorabool Valley near Mt Aankie in the Geelong wine growing region of Victoria and was founded by three scientists, Ray Nadeson, Maree Collis and Adrian Thomas.
The vineyard was originally planted in 1874 by Swiss immigrants, and was replanted by the current owners in 1996. The wines are produced on site in small quantity but with absolute care resulting in great wines of exception flavour and quality. Every detail, starting with the precise timing of picking the grapes, to the types of barrels and corks used is given attentive consideration.
The Lethbridge Indra Shiraz features in Francis Wong's Top 8 Wines in Asia.
Huon Hooke writing in the Sydney Morning Herald describes Ray Nadeson of Lethbridge Wines as "one of the brightest new winemaking stars", Sydney Morning Herald, 26 Aug 2008.
