Staughton Vale Vineyard is situated on the slopes of Mt Anakie, in the Moorabool Valley, along the Geelong Bellarine wine trail, in South Eastern Victoria.
The Staughton Vale Vineyard and Winery, established in 1986, is the result of Paul Chambers' vision. Staughton Vale incorporates the vineyard, winery, restaurant and accommodation - a testiment to his drive and vision. Paul Chambers' winemaking skill and level of experience is undeniable.
As owner and winemaker his experience spans some 30 years in the industry - from1986 to 1989 he was consultant winemaker at Mt Anakie Winery. Then in 1989 he produced the first wines from his own StaughtonVale Vineyard fruit. Between 2001 and 2005 he was guest lecturer in Wine Science at Deakin University, Geelong.
Staughton Vale is perched on the gentle slopes of Mt Anakie with immediate views of the Brisbane Ranges National Park - home to koalas, kangaroos, echidnas and wondrous bird life.
The vineyard and winery produces excellent wines with distinctive limited edition specialties available only through a personal visit to the cellar door. An absolute delight for all the senses - the flagship wine is a must try for serious wine lovers.
