The result is a serious wine at a fun price point that will undoubtably sell out quickly.
Appellation Ballarat 2007 Pinot Noir
This wine is a light ruby glass colour with crimson hues. Its nose has has mulberry, blood plums, black cherry with hints of earthiness and balanced intergrated fine textured oak
On the palate there are black cherries, very fine-grained textured tannins with a slightly earthy and tart flavour with a long lingering spice finish.
Matches most foods but recommend: duck any direction, slow braised rabbit, kettle-barbecued lamb or seared salmon.
Offering vibrancy now, the wine's complexity will develop further over time due to the way it is made and the outstanding quality of the Ballarat fruit. 10 to 15 years.
