'Sticks is named after founder Rob Dolan, an ex-Port Adelaide ruckman whose long lean frame fitted the tag perfectly. The Sticks wines have long offered great value, as well as high quality. Based on a mature vineyard on the slopes behind Yarra Glen township, Sticks' winery has a new cellar door with a large outside deck that takes in one of the best views in the Yarra Valley. Located just one hour from Melbourne, visitors can enjoy a wine tasting in the Cellar Door before indulging in a cheese platter whilst enjoying the magnificent view from the expansive deck area. Alternatively you can unwind by the open fire and peruse one of the many decadent food and wine books offered for sale.
Sticks pride themselves on producing premium cool climate wines.Whilst their flagship wines are Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the diversity of the Yarra Valley enables them to produce outstanding wines across many varietals.
The welcoming Cellar Door showcases the Sticks Yarra Valley range of wines, as well as the award winning premium Sticks No.29 range, from unique vineyards that have been specifically selected for their own personality and character. The No.29 wines are only produced in exceptional vintages, and are usually only available in limited quantities.
