Katnook Estate will host a 'Merlot Mastery' event at the Park Hyatt in Melbourne in July. Matthew Jukes (is this bloke ever in the UK?) will lead a panel discussion including Katnook chief winemaker Wayne Stehbens and viticulturist Chris Brodie, and "surprise special guests" from the world's most revered Merlot regions. There will be some good grog to taste and tickets are $295 per head.
