Visit Wirra Wirra's Free Wine Tasting and Work of Art
Historic McLaren Vale winery, Wirra Wirra, knows that Melbournians are passionate about their wine and art.
So, as Melbourne celebrates its food and wine during March, Wirra Wirra will be adding an '"unusual and spectacular" public work of art into the mix by creating one of the world's largest cork sculptures at Melbourne's Southbank.
Putting their old corks to good use, Wirra Wirra will build the "Church Block: Work of Art" and offer daily wine tastings of their most celebrated "Church Block" wine.
To entice you further, you could win yourself AUD3,000 worth of Church Block wine by guessing the total number of corks used to create the 10m spectacular "Church Block: Work of Art". You can view dimensions and enter your answer at the website or visit the "Church Block: Work of Art" at Southbank, Melbourne during Melbourne's Food and Wine Festival. The winner will receive a dozen bottles of Church Block wine delivered each month for a year (valued at around AUD3000). Competition closes Saturday 20th March
You can also pick up a free voucher to enjoy a glass of Church Block wine at no charge with any meal at any participating Southgate restaurants. Participating Southbank restaurants include: The Deck, Noodle House, Bear Brass, Meat
