The award winning Oakdene Vineyards Restaurant, is located at Wallington, near Ocean Grove on the Bellarine Peninsula, in South Eastern Victoria.
Oakdene Vineyards restaurant is housed in a 1920's beautifully restored homestead with a stunning art garden setting. Guests are encouraged to taste wine, stroll in the gardens, and/or dine al fresco in this gorgeous setting.
In 2007 Oakdene dominated the Telstra Country wide Golden Plate Awards and Herald Sun food critic Stephen Downes awarded the venue as Joint Overall Golden Plate Award Winner, Joint Best Restaurant Winner, Best Menu of Local Food Winner, Best Customer Service Highly Commended, Best Barista Highly Commended and Best Coffee Highly Commended.
Oakdene also scored an impressive 14/20 in the 2008 Age Good Food Guide edited by John Lethlean who commented, “passion is crucial to a restaurant's success and Oakdene has it in spades"
