Golden Plains and Moorabool Valley regions are famous for fresh food, award winning wines, gourmet food producers and breathtaking scenery. The Golden Plains Farmers' Market offers quality local products and produce, in a relaxed and friendly environment.
This exciting and authentic farmers' market will take place on the first Saturday of each month from 9:00am to 1pm in the heart of Bannockburn, 20 minutes from Geelong. What you take home is as fresh, seasonal and full of flavour as any produce, anywhere.
The Golden Plains Farmers' Markets offer quality products and produce, fresh and direct from the farmers, winemakers and gourmet provedores of the region.
Golden Plains Farmers Market is a genuine market - all of the stallholders are local producers, with their produce being grown or made by themselves - you get to talk to the person who created the produce!
The Golden Plains Farmers' Market provides a great alternative to dragging reluctant kids grocery shopping because children love the market and its child-friendly activities.
The Bannockburn and District Arts Group sets up an art marquee every month to provide fun and interesting art activities for children to take part in. Each month offers children different creative projects, from mask and card making and crafts to drawing and painting. Another favourite with the children is the jumping castle.
