The spectacular gardens of Dame Elisabeth Murdoch at Cruden Farm, Langwarrin, at the entrance to the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, are open to the public for one day in August as part of the Open Garden program, and through various charitable organisations throughout the year.
Open from 10am to 4.30pm. Entry is A$9 (2010 price may be subject to change, see Open Garden website) and is free for children. The gardens can be entered from Cranhaven Road, Langwarrin. The house is not open to the public.
The garden is also host to regular jazz and other festivals to raise money for the nearby McClelland Gallery and charities throughout the year. Listen to Courtney singing at one of these performances:
