In 1925 Joan and Daryl Lindsay purchased a 29 acre property in a rural setting with charming views of the surrounding country-side and Western Port.
They added a delightful American colonial style Desbrowe Annear designed house to an existing four-room 1880s cottage.
The Lindsays left their beloved Mulberry Hill – and its significant collection of Australian art, fine Georgian furniture and glassware, and Staffordshire ceramics – to the National Trust of Australia (Victoria) so that others could share and enjoy the collection.
