Dreaming of a place where time slows down to a trickle, where the sound of the ocean waves soothes the soul and the gentle touch of a massage and warmth of a hot mineral bath awaits? The Mornington Peninsula has 11 spas all waiting with their hearts and hands.

This tranquil seaside oasis located one hour south of Melbourne has long been the place of choice for relaxation for Melbournians. Surrounded by water on three sides the Peninsula offers an incredible diversity of attractions and natural wonders. Whether you seek sailing, swimming, scuba diving or kayaking on the bay, golfing on one of the 23 courses, horse riding, surfing or ocean beach fishing on the Bass Strait ocean coast, walks in the national parks or crawls through over 50 winery cellar doors. The demand for blissful relaxation after all the discovery is burgeoning.

Several of the Mornington Peninsula's day spas and resorts have recently come together in the spirit of growing a good life and have created the Mornington Peninsula Spa Association to 'establish the Mornington Peninsula as a world leading Spa destination'.

Spas on the Mornington Peninsula range from relaxation day spas in the beach side towns of Sorrento, Rye, Dromana and Mornington, to the vineyard surrounded spas on Red Hill, and from the natural hot mineral spring spas at Peninsula Hot Springs to the Peninsula Life Medi Spa. Offerings range from the simple pleasure of a mineral bath to botox, from Indian Ayurvedic treatments to Li'Tya's treatments incorporating aboriginal massage techniques and healing wisdom, from the world first Maori Makoha treatments to yoga classes on the beach.
