Classic Pate and Terrines is the niche creation of local chef Michael Nalty. Based out of Crib Point on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula, Michael creates a tasty array of pate and terrines which are available only at select farmers markets in and around the Mornington Peninsula.
If you are in urgent need of a pate or terrine, Michael can also be contacted via mobile.
Classic Pates are smooth, creamy, spreadable, highly flavoured, prepared from fresh chicken or duck livers, fresh herbs and free range eggs. Available in classic styles, Michael has experimented and come up with a few more unusual combinations such as the Whiskey and Rosemary, Figs and Walnuts, Lemon Myrtle and Ginger or Bush Spices with Mountain Pepper
Classic Terrines are chunky or coarse, highly flavoured and baked in ceramic terrine forms of various shapes and sizes. Pate de Campagne, Duck with Orange, Ginger and Green Peppercorns, Venison and Country Style Port and Pistachio are just a few of the terrines available.
Find Classic Pates and Terrines at the Red Hill Market, Mornington Racecourse Market, Seaford Farmer's Market and the Balnarring Racecourse Market amongst others. Be quick though, Michael tends to sell out quickly on the day!
