Willow Creek Vineyard is located in Merricks North on Victoria's beautiful Mornington Peninsula. Spread across three undulating slopes, the 12 hectare property is among the oldest on the peninsula. It's the perfect place to drop in a stay a while.
The property is home to multi-award winning Salix Restaurant and Bistro which makes it the perfect setting to experience single site, cool climate wines alongside sensational, local produce. The restaurant's floor to ceiling glass windows allow for spectacular views of the vines across the sloping vineyard, as does the newly extended bistro deck which is a superb place to enjoy a glass of wine.
Willow Creek's cellar door has also received a stunning makeover, offering a much more spacious, yet homely environment to try the wines. Their wines maximise the potential of 20 year old vines to express the unique site terroir using regional flagship varieties chardonnay and pinot noir. Small plantings of pinot gris and sauvignon blanc have been added in recent years.
The new release estate Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from Willow Creek Vineyard are the first Willow Creek wines from cool climate specialist, Geraldine McFaul. Gerry has been working with cool climate varieties on the Mornington Peninsula for many years. Her experience, when combined with viticulturist, Robbie O'Leary's intimate, 20 year knowledge of the site, allows for a true expression of what's at the heart of Willow Creek.
