Located less than five minutes from Wangaratta, The Pelican is a charming historic homestead set in parklike surrounds.
Cattle and horses are raised on the 400 acres and early risers can go "trackside" to watch the harness horses at work. Guest rooms are in an upstairs wing and have lovely country views. The main room has a private balcony overlooking a lagoon where pelicans and peacocks are often spotted.
Breakfast is served in the charming dining room and features home grown produce. Evening meals are available on request. In winter a cosy open fire invites you to relax with a book, while in summer our patio is the place to sit with a cool drink.
The Pelican Bed and Breakfast is centrally situated to all North East attractions, including wineries, historic townships and mountains and the rail trail.
