The Hume Murray Farmers Market is held on every second Saturday morning, from 8am to 12noon; rain, hail or shine.
Situated at Gateway Village, Wodonga, the popular market has grown from strength to strength. This market helps support your local producers from north east Victoria and southern New South Wales providing a range of fresh seasonal produce and prepared foods. Producers are encouraged to be Victorian Farmers Market Association accredited as the market moves towards full accreditation.
Embrace the chance to learn from the locals. Understand the about the products you are purchasing direct from the growers, including peaks and fluctuations in the product itself. A wonderful variety of produce is on offer including fruit, vegetables, beef, organic lamb and pork, cheeses,eggs, bread, cakes, chocolates, nuts, ice-cream cordials, jams, confectionary, relishes, herbs, wines, oils, olives, honey, flowers, small goods and more.
So come along, meet your friends and start your morning with a fantastic market bacon and egg roll and a coffee, while listening to some great local buskers and reading the Saturday's Border mail, followed by a friendly informative shopping experience supporting local producers, and chatting to the guest sustainable community group or school.
