Located adjacent to the Cellar Door at Milawa, in the King Valley wine region of North East Victoria (Legends, Wine and High Country), the Epicurean Centre is a restaurant where you can enjoy sumptuous dishes created to complement the flavours and complexities of Brown Brothers wines.
The à la carte menu is available from 11am to 3pm daily allowing you to enjoy a number of dishes - savoury or sweet. Each course includes a glass of Brown Brothers wine which has been matched to the dish, taking the guesswork out of wine and food matching for you.
The menu is changed each season to reflect availability of freshness of produce and to allow for new wine releases to be showcased.
Head chef, Doug Elder, joined the Epicurean Centre after a successful stint at Beechworth's acclaimed Warden's restaurant where he earned consecutive Age Good Food Guide Chef's Hats.
Doug's culinary journey started at Sheraton Towers, Southgate, but a period at the Lakehouse in Daylesford gave him a taste for country life and he soon relocated to North East Victoria. He has since developed a great passion for the region's abundant, fresh produce, forging close relationships with local producers.
For lovers of wine and food this will be an experience and occasion to remember. The stunning surrounds of the Milawa Vineyard only adding to the enjoyment.
