Situated 16 kms south of the Murray Valley Highway along the eastern side of the Ovens River is Australia's smallest commercially registered brewery and the oldest still operating in Victoria (having commenced brewing in 1902).
The Buffalo Brewery produces award winning beers from the best malt barley, wheat liquid yeast, hops and pure spring water sourced on site. The beers include ginger beer, wheat beer, lager, stout and dark ale. Traditional techniques are employed to handcraft special beers of lasting quality, integrity and heritage.
The Hotel has an excellent reputation for traditional country hospitality and home cooked meals. There is a beer garden which can accommodate up to 200 people and a dining room which seats 70 people comfortably.
