High Country Wines was established by Janine Rolles & Matt Fawcett in 2009. The High Country brand was first released by the Miranda Family in 1995 who sold their business to Australian Vintage (AVL) in October 2003. Due to a number of company changes within AVL, the High Country brand became available and was purchased by Janine & Matt.
Due to their love of the High Country region, lifestyle and wines, they decided to take on the High Country brand to produce a range of World Class Wines from the High Country regions of Australia. They source and select the best parcels of grapes and wine from the region to blend a range of wines that truly reflects to challenges and distinct characters of the cool climate region.
Set in the picturesque gourmet region of Milawaon 110 acres is the future home for High Country Wines with development of a cellar door reception and winery over the coming years. Janine and Matt invite you to come on their journey as they develop the signature styled wines of the High Country.
