Situated on the western slopes of the Kiewa Valley our vineyards catch the morning sun as it rises over Mt. Bogong. We are one of the many vineyards in the Alpine Valleys region in North East Victoria which have a reputation for producing very high quality wine grapes.
The combination of terrarossa soil and a cool climate is particularly well suited to the production of premium quality wine grapes. The soil limits the crop levels and ensures small berries and the warm days and cool nights during the ripening season (March, April) give grapes with intense flavours that will carry through into our wines. We only grow varieties that suit our terroir and we know will give premium grapes consistently every year.
Currently we grow the white varieties Verdelho, Viognier and Marsanne and the red varieties Merlot, Shiraz, Durif and Chambourcin.
