Victorian Alps Winery and Gapsted Wines are situated in the heart of the King and Alpine Valleys within Victoria's High Country.
The cool climate wines include the innovative varieties of the French Petit Manseng, the Russian Saperavi and the Portuguese Touriga and your old favourites including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Chardonnay.
To date Gapsted Wines have had great show success
both locally and abroad, winning a staggering 26 Trophies and 83 Gold Medals.
The cellar door is located at Gapsted on the Great Alpine Road, about 5 minutes from Myrtleford. Try their antipasto or cheese plates made with local ingredients sourced from the surrounding gourmet regions. Perfect for an afternoon nibble, partnered with a glass or your favorite Gapsted wine.
Regular events are held throughout the year. Cinema under the stars, Shakespeare in the Vines and jazz bands on the deck are a highlight in the summer.
Sweeping views across the Ovens Valley to Mount Buffalo, soft alpine breezes, blue sky and sun create the perfect environment in which to relax and enjoy what Gapsted has to offer.
