The oldest winery in Victoria was established in 1858 and purchased by George Phillip Gehrig in 1867, the homestead 'Barnawartha House' featuring a two storey Bell Tower that was built in 1870 from bricks fired on the property.
Brian Gehrig is the fifth generation winemaker. An excellent range of red and white table wines and fortified are available.
Recently opened restaurant, Gehrigs Gourmet Courtyard offering light lunches during weekends, public and school holidays. Specialising in using estate and locally grown produce open 12noon - 3.00pm, group catering available with indoor and outdoor facilities.
Picnic and playground facilities are provided with undercover barbecue areas for larger groups.
