Rutherglen Estates aims to redefine the traditions of the world's best fortified producing region, by creating premium table wines based on traditional, Mediterranean and alternative varietals.
Their wine range is therefore inspired by the region's traditional styles and reflects its climatic suitability for growing the classic white and red grape varieties of France's Rhone Valley and Italy. These wines are produced entirely from fruit grown on Rutherglen Estates Vineyards, with professional winemaking and viticultural teams using a combination of traditional and modern, cutting edge methods to deliver an innovative range of top quality premium wines.
The historic cellar door building was originally built as cellars in 1886, and today is home to Tuileries restaurant and café, luxury accommodation, conference facilities, as well as Rutherglen Estates Cellar Door. It is located in the centre of Rutherglen on Drummond Street.
Rutherglen Estates is internationally celebrated for producing inspired varietals and blends from Viognier, Marsanne, Fiano, Savagnin, Shiraz, Sangiovese, Mourvedre, Grenache and Durif. Wines are available in Australia directly from their Cellar Door, online or through selected retail outlets and restaurants in Australia.
