Ruffy Produce Store is open for lunch on Fridays and breakfast and lunch on weekends and public holidays. The store is warm and cosy in winter and cooled by altitude and oaks in summer with wines from the Strathbogie Ranges and Upper Goulburn wine regions and a menu that showcases the best of local, seasonal produce. Organic, free range Berkshire pork and ham, Habbies Howe grass fed Angus beef, Dobson's potatoes, bio-dynamic fruit from Mill Spring Farm, local free range eggs and sourdough bread.
Ruffy Produce chutney, pickles and jams and Ruffy Puffy sausage rolls make it definitely worth the drive to this little oasis in the middle of nowhere. Wend your way. Ruffy is just two hours comfortable drive from Melbourne via either the Hume Freeway or, the tour to Ruffy via Healesville, the Black Spur, Alexandra and Yarck is one of Victoria's best short drives.
