The Premier Championship Golf Course on the Murray River. Murray Downs Golf and Country Club is widely regarded as one of the best regional resort courses in Australia and is a must play for golfers of all ages and ability.
The large greens are undulating, fast and complimented by perfectly manicured and groomed fairways. You must also be watchful of the well placed water hazards and many bunkers that adorn this magnificent layout. Highlights are the par 3-5, a huge water carry over a lake that follows the hole all the way to the green. Bunkers guard the left of this narrow target and it is rated one of the toughest holes on the course. Like most good courses it rewards the good shots, and penalises the bad. You will love playing this course.
The Club provides a friendly, relaxed, comfortable atmosphere with stunning views of the golf course and manicured gardens. After your game you can settle back in the lounge with a drink from the bar and enjoy the panoramic views in armchair comfort. Visit the Cafe or dine in Fairways Bistro (lunch or dinner). The Club conducts regular promotions, provides live entertainment or you could try your luck with the TAB or KENO.
