Rochford Wines began life in 1998 at a small town called Rochford on the northern slopes of Victoria's Macedon Ranges, moving into the Yarra Valley five years later with the purchase of Eyton on Yarra.
When the late Jack Church went searching for a good spot to grow back in 1969 the Yarra Valley wasn't initially on his list of locations. However, the industrial chemist didn't look back since planting the first vines on the north facing slopes of the Warramate Ranges.
