Rosenthal Wines and Springfield Park Vineyard are a boutique vineyard located in the south west of Western Australia between Bridgetown and Manjimup, in the Balckwood Valley wine region.
In 1997, Gerald and Marjorie Richings fulfilled a long held dream by planting a small vineyard on the rich, loamy soils of their Springfield Park cattle stud.
The Rosenthal family shared the Richings' vision and passion. Upon their acquisition of the property in 2000, the Rosenthals expanded the vineyard and embarked upon the establishment of Rosenthal Wines.
The vineyard's maiden vintage, comprising the 2001 Reserve Shiraz and 2001 Sparkling Red, was warmly received by wine enthusiasts and sold out. Subsequent vintages have also sold out shortly after release. The loyalty and repeat custom of their valued clients reflects their commitment to premium fruit and traditional winemaking methods.
