The Toodyay Festival of Food, a part of the 2009 Avon Descent Family Fun Day, will be held on Saturday 1 August from 10am to 4pm at Newcastle Bridge Park.
The festival provides a day of family fun and entertainment, along with a tantalising selection of international cuisine and fresh local produce.
With multiculturalism at the heart of the festival, you will experience a talented line-up of live music and dance performances from a diverse variety of cultures. The popular Chinese Lion Dancers will be joined by Irish dancers, exotic belly-dancers and high energy Capoeira performers, just to name a few.
Savour the unique flavours of the extensive range of gourmet speciality products that will be available for sale on the day. The family will enjoy loads of free interactive activities and quality entertainment, such as face paining, circus performers, bubble show, bouncy castle and a baby farmyard petting zoo.
